Nicola serves as the Southern Africa Regional Program Manager for the Women@Work Campaign. She has twelve years of rights-based development experience with a particular focus on women’s rights in the Southern Africa region. She has been based in Malawi for thirteen years, working on a range of women’s rights and human rights programs including the National 50/50 campaign on Women in Politics in Malawi in 2009. She has experience working for international development agencies including Trocaire and Marie Stopes International. Nicola's areas of expertise and passion include women’s political and social empowerment and cultural anthropology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics and a master’s degree in Social Sciences.
